It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion W. Blanton Jr. (Worthington, Indiana), who passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Blanton and Elsie Blanton (Terhune); his wife Marcella M. Blanton (Flynn); and his sister Reba Maners. He is survived by: his children, Terry Blanton (Mary), Norman Blanton, Sandi White (Doug) and Lavon Blanton (Tracy); his grandchildren, Candi Blanton, Brian Blanton (Jennifer), Kristen Saladin (Mike), Lora Fox, Beth Gianos and Cloe Gianos; and his sister Phyllis Flynn. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In honor of Junior's faith and lifelong commitment to his church, memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Christian Church through the funeral home.
