With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Swinney of Worthington, Indiana, born in Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Swinney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles "Buster" Omar and Hazel Heiny (Thacker); her husband Elmer "Bud" L. Swinney; her son Gary Swinney; and her brother Raymond Heiny (Elizabeth Swinney).

She is survived by : her children, Victoria "Vicki" Rogers (John) of Worthington, Roger Swinney (Diana) of Lebanon and Leslie Swinney (Beth) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
