He is survived by: his son Michael Kirby (Maryann); his grandchildren, Joshua Kirby, Rachel Banek Kirby (Joe), Sarah Saldivar (Jason), Anna Ossewaarde (Brian) and Melanie Kirby; his close friend Wilma Cochran; his sister Earlene Johnson (James); his niece Jamie Johnson; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
