He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Gentry Sr.; his grandparents, Raymond and Janet Gentry; and his uncles, David Ezra and Raymond Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Gentry; his children, Cheyenne Gentry, Ciara Halsema (Caleb), Giavanni Gentry (Kurt Dickerson) and Jacob Gentry; his grandchildren, Greyson Halsema, Raelynn Halsema and Jaclynn Halsema; his mother Vickie Gentry; and his siblings, Pam Konkle (Matt), Tina Perry, Matt Gentry (Jess) and Brandy Smock (Dave). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
