He is survived by : his wife Betty Sue Qualkenbush; his sons, Greg (Donna), Mike (Deanna) and John Jay (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Madison (Alex), Nick (Chrystal), Trevor (Leah), Sara, John Ivan, Ella and Jackson; his great grandchildren, Carter, Callee, Cooper, Mason, Dane and Phoebe; and his great great grandchildren, Clementine and Georgia.
