James Taylor Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of James Taylor (Zionsville, Indiana) is shared. James, born on September 2, 1949, passed away on August 20, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Taylor to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Taylor and Loretta Taylor (Wood); and his sisters, Margaret Didrick, Ann Hamilton and Susan Evans.
He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Winger and Melissa Taylor; his grandchildren, Nathan, Calvin, Ace, Layten, Shaye, Ellie, Vivian, Knox, Anne, Tim, Josephine and Owen; his son-in-law Doug Carender; his sister Nora Price (Lonnie); Margaret "Peggy" Boneff. He is also survived by his wife, daughters.
Jim was called home on August 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. As per his wishes, he will be celebrated in a private service with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jim's two favorite charities, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Merciful Help Center at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church.
