As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Annette L. Whitlock; and his son Steven G. Whitlock. He is survived by: his children, Debbie McMasters (Scott), Mark Lewis (Paula), Cheryl Kelley (Alex), Michael Whitlock (Marcia), John Whitlock (Carol) and Chris Whitlock (Teresa). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Bridewell Foundation's Camp Esperanza (campesperanza.org), a nonprofit organization that provides free, medically supervised summer camp experiences for children with cancer, inspiring hope and normalcy during difficult times. Jack's family spent 30 years raising money for the Foundation through an annual golf tournament, in memory of Steven.
