He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Schmidt, (Burjes) and Alfred Schmidt, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Delores (Longhofer); his children, Velda June Becker (Edwin) of Abilene and Terry Schmidt (Sylvia); and his grandchildren, Jason Becker (Angie) of Herington, Wayne Schmidt (Angie) of Boise Idaho, Clay Becker (Jill) of Enterprise, Ginger Bond (Gerald) of Whitewater and Toby Becker (Natasha) of Herington. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
