She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Otto Reese and Emma Zimmerman; her husband Ron Shivers; her great grandchild Shiann Lober; and her siblings, Don Reese, Bud James and Veline Rutz.
She is survived by : her children, Cindy Monroe of Abilene and Dennis Monroe of Abilene.
Family suggests memorials be given to the Tammy Walker Cancer Foundation or the Abilene First Baptist Church.
