She was predeceased by : her parents, Anton Anderson and Esther Anderson (Troup); her husband Rich Walters; her daughter-in-law Marcia Walters; and her siblings, Barbara Hanefield (Bob) and Bob Anderson (Betty).

She is survived by : her children, Cathy Hugghins (Ted) of Fort Dodge, Chris Walters (Lisa Salsgiver) of Andover and David Walters (Jodi) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Seth Hugghins (Jaymie), Luke Hugghins (Lexie), Hope Hunt (Zac), Annie Walters, Hayley Taylor (Hunter), Allie Ross (Nathan) and Jaden Reynolds (Layton); and her great grandchildren, Hudson and Denver Hugghins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
