She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Edward Arthur Peterson and Grace Esther Peterson (Picking); her sisters, Beverly Anne Krisher, Leona Ruth Blodgett and Connie Marie Amburgy; her son Martin Paul Krause; her grandson Jeremy Allen Burdick; and her great grandchild Lucas Aaron Swartz.

She is survived by : her sister Mary Esther Bever; her children, Greggory Allen Krause of Hutchinson, Susan Koren Burdick of Texas and Jeffrey Neil Krause of Hutchinson; and her grandchildren, Rachel Ann Swartz (John) of Texas, Benjamin Paul Krause (Tara) of Texas and Heather Donnell Madrigill (Ed) of Kansas City. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and life-long friends.

The family suggests memorials be given to St. Jude' Children's Research Hospital.
