Frances Elaine Coltrain Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Elaine Coltrain in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Sannes and Wilma Sannes. She is survived by: her husband David Coltrain; her sister Wilma Lou Denney; her children, Stephanie Marteney (Derrek), Annie Lahr (Jason) and Josh Coltrain (Tabetha); her grandchildren, Isaiah Lahr (Becca), Tyler Marteney (Michayla), Eli Lahr, Bethany Baumer (Samuel), Samantha Marteney, Gracie Coltrain, Stormy Marteney, Dakota Marteney, Jonathan Coltrain, Emma Coltrain, Shaun Coltrain, Lydia Lahr and Luke Coltrain; and her great grandchildren, Gayle, Maddox, Eben, Henry and Quinton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (1317 N 7th St, Neodesha, KS 66757). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Shelley Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Gideons International, Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan's Purse, or Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County.
