She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold, Jr. Connet and Margaret Connet (Murphy); her children, Guy Dawson; her former husband Burl; and her siblings, Jerry Connet, Murel Connet and Judy Fells.
She is survived by : her husband Kenneth "Kenny" Dawson; and her children, Sue Gilbreath (Mike) of Olathe, Gina (Dusty Kuntz) of Abilene, Scott Dawson (Maureen) of Abilene, Grant Dawson (Terri) of Salina and Josh Dawson (Deanna) of Bennington. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church for the benefit of families in need, along with Hospice and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Street, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
