He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bowell and Irene Bowell (Dimond); and his brothers, Douglas, Donald and Laron.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; and his sister Naomi Rider of Abilene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
