She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Jeffers and Harriett Jeffers (Grace); and her spouse Gene Brax. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Beckley of Abilene and Jay Varner (LeeAnn); her grandchildren, Nicki (Jason), Megan, Jami (Brad), Madi (Shaquille), Lindsay (Pranav), Sarah, Marie (Casey) and Matt; her great grandchildren, Colt, Chloe, Terra, Samuel, Sadie, Daniel, Emilee, Colton, Owen and Rowdy; and her brother Roger Jeffers.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Sew Cozy Quilt Retreat in care of Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW Third St., Abilene, Kansas 67410.
