She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Hartenstein of Chapman; her husband Glenn Book; her children, Michael Ade (Christal) of Chapman and Sarah Stalder (Cole) of Chapman; her siblings, Brad Hartenstein (Judy) of Manhattan and Nancy McMaster (John) of Wichita; her brother-in-law Ken Book of Abilene; her grandchildren, Brittany Steede (Derek), Rachel Duer, Brynna Ade, Avery Baer, Josie Baer and Ava Brown; and her great grandchild Calliope Elizabeth Steede. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be dropped off at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene, designated for the Elsie Brooks Memorial Cancer Fund of Dickinson County, Zion Brethren in Christ Church, or Hospice of Dickinson County.
