Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Benfer and Christina Benfer of Longford, KS.; her husband Rex Ira Van Scoyoc; and her children, Donald and Janet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marjorie Rice (Tom) and Sharon Stewart (Terry); and her daughter-in-law Evelyn Van Scoyoc. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
With Martha's desire for everyone to know Jesus, the family suggests memorials to El Dorado First Baptist Church Mission Fund, Longford United Methodist Church, or Interim Hospice, El Dorado, KS.
