The memory of Patricia Taplin of Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice of Dickinson County, or to Heifer International (heifer.org), one of Patty's favorite charities, where she always funded a year of education for a girl.
