She is survived by: her mother Joyce Wegele (Karst) of Great Bend; her son Mike Gowans (Michele) of Wichita; her stepchildren, Sam Storm (Tara) of Kearney, Neb. and Kelly Heuer (Derrick) of Manhattan, Kan.; her siblings, Leann Wegele of Great Bend and Richard Wegele (Miya) of Pleasant View, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Roree Storm, Syrus Storm, Evelyn Heuer and Emerson Heuer; her niece Morgan Whelan (Dmitri); her nephew Jackson Linenberg; and her great-niece Penelope Whelan.
