Barbara Ann Theel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Theel of Alma, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Barbara Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Pageler and Esther Pageler (Niedfeldt); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Pageler. She is survived by: her husband Phillip; her sons, Eric Theel (Stephanie) of Paxico, KS and Ryan Theel of Alma, KS; her grandchild Thomas Theel of Topeka, KS; and her brother Dennis Pageler of Topeka, KS. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and siblings-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (218 W 2nd St, Alma, KS 66401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church.
