It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leonard Savage of Alma, Kansas, born in Pomona, California, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stuart Savage and Christine Savage (Kramer); his daughters-in-law, Frances Savage and Terri Savage; his grandsons, Matthew Savage and Jeremy Savage; his great grandchild Marv Savage; and his siblings, Stuart Savage, Bernice Kleinfeldt and Charlie Savage.

He is survived by : his sons, Greg Savage (Liz) of Alma, Paul Savage of Alma, David Savage (Jennifer) of Alma and Mike Savage (Nicole) of Alma; his grandchildren, Johnathan Savage (Kayla), Kristen Faus (Brandt), Kaley Grimland (Edgar), Jessica Tennis (Tristan), Josie Griego (Marco), Jordyn Giberti (Kirill), Shelby DeLeon (Luke), Kyle Savage (Kylie) and Kaytlin Savage; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Owen, Eli, Henry, Eva, Antonella, Cruz, Collison, Porter, Chandler, Matthew, Addie, Mason and Zakeus; and his sister Marjorie Umbach.

They suggest memorial contributions to St. John Lutheran Church, St. John Lutheran School, or the American Legion, and those may be sent in care of Campanella and Stewart Funeral Home.
