With solemn reverence, we commemorate Darlene L. Brown of Altamont, Kansas, whose life came to an end on June 25, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Conrad and Margaret Conrad (Burnell); her husband John L. Brown; her daughters, Dana Brown and Diane Brown; and her grandson Johnathan Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Brown (Vicky) of Parsons and Johnia M. Franklin of Altamont, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Cody Brown of Altamont, Kansas, Haley Brown of Cherryvale, Kansas, Cynthia Kinser (Armond) of Edna, Kansas and Julia Ames (Tim) of Altamont, Kansas.; and her great grandchildren, Cole Brown, Talan Bentley, Shane Smith, Delaney Brown, Virginia Kinser, Ember Kinser and Luna Ames.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (405 Main St, Parsons, KS 67357). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mound Valley Cemetery.
