He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lester and Ruth Lewis (Cummins); his grandson Spencer Gatewood; and his sisters, Paulene Lewis Marlar and Dorthy Lewis.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Lewis (Nancy) of Hornbeck, Steve Lewis (Jennifer) of Topeka and Matt Lewis of Pittsburg; his stepdaughters, Tammy Volz (Randy) of Topeka and Kristy Hamilton (Russ) of Chanute; and his grandchildren, Brock Pease (Jessica), Ashley Pease, Stuart Gatewood, Skylar Gatewood, Trysten Lewis (Meggen) and Stephanie Lewis. He is also survived by Nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (405 Main St, Parsons, KS 67357).
Memorials are suggested to the American Stroke Association or the Dementia Society of America.
