With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth M. Lavender (Altamont, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Glenn Adams and Hazel Adams (Westervelt); her husband Dale Lavender; her son Roger Lavender; and her grandson Joshua Hilderbrand.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Sue Hilderbrand (Keith) of Altamont, Kansas; her grandchildren, Lori Zielinski (Mike) and Kristopher Hawley (Molly); her great grandchildren, Mikayla Zielinski and Jadyn Zielinski; her great great grandchild Portlynn; her sisters, Mildred Banzet (Hosea) of Altamont and Janet Miller of Wheaton, Illinois; and her daughter-in-law Cynda Lavender.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Altamont.
