He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard II and Delois Winsky, II (Warnke); and his son Kelly Morris. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson; his children, Ami Winsky Watts, Dolli Winsky, Amanda Morris and Justin Morris; and his sister Becky Schroeder (Richard). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
