He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gorges and Lucille Gorges; his wife Brenda Gorges; and his siblings, John, Don, Gerald Gorges and Ruth Goertz.
He is survived by: his son Nicholas Gorges (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Lily Gorges, Genevieve Gorges and Leon Gorges; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby (Debbie Armstrong) and Rick (Glenda Powell). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and additional family members.
A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Andale (318 Rush Ave, Andale, KS 67001). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
