He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Herman Furry and Oweda Gertrude Furry; his wife Vera Furry (Marler); his siblings, Wilbur Furry, Jane Oselin, Wilma Stobaugh and Marion Pickett; and his sons, Jonathon and Brent Furry.

He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Furry (Becky) and Mark Furry (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Beth Church of Raleigh, NC, Nathaniel Furry, Andrew Furry, Matthew Furry, Daniel Furry and Michelle Furry.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Old Mission Cemetery and Mortuary (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
