He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cook and Valeria Cook (Sutton); his wife Julie Cook; his brother Darran Cook; his father-in-law Newt Ward; and his nephews, Hayden Cook and Conner Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Jake Cook (Angela Cook) and Amanda Gorges (Shane Gorges); his grandchildren, Noah Gorges, Emmarie Cook, Noah Roark, Chase Cook, Jacob Cook and Magdalen Cook; his mother-in-law Diane Ward; his siblings-in-law, Darren Ward, Jill Ward and Susan Cook; and his sibling's children, Harrison Cook, Sydney Cook, Ashley Ward and Emily Ward. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (318 Rush Ave, Andale, KS 67001). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wichita Animal Action League (P.O. Box 21401, Wichita, Kansas 67208).
