It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Kennedy of Andover, Kansas, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claire Eugene and Mearle Arlene Maddox (Edwards). She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Dalene (Jeff) of Wichita; her husband Dean Kennedy of Andover; her daughter Kari Gordon (Josh) of Andover; her grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Chris, Mikenna Mork of Wichita, Jacob Gordon (Olivia) of Lawrence and Kaitlyn Gordon of Andover; and her sister Pam Byers (Bill) of Wichita. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, Victory in the Valley (cancer support), or Pittsburg State University Foundation, benefiting the volleyball team.
