He was predeceased by: his parents, Les Lawson and Henrietta Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Olga; his children, Jarvis Lawson (Haley) and Carlee Lawson (Peter Merrill); his brother Steve Lawson; his grandson Sterling Dold; his stepdaughter Jackie Stanberry (Nick); his stepgrandchildren, Jason, Taylor, Owen and Claire; his stepson Jacob Bornowsky (Nicole); his stepgrandchildren, Beckett and Blakely; his stepdaughter Jana Miller (Chris); his stepgranddaughter Mila; his stepdaughter Jerica Bornowsky; his stepgrandsons, Max Mellinger and Wyatt Bornowsky; and his pet Cooper. He is also survived by many other family members, close coworkers, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reliance Community Church (11910 W Pawnee St, Wichita, KS 67215).
