He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burdette and Evelyn Burdette; his wife Mary; his sister Leta Mae; and his son-in-law Scott Schroeder.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri Aranda (Joe) and Tammy Schroeder. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
