He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Ruth Lanning Benson; and his parents, George Sinclair Benson Jr. and Frances Cleaver Benson. He is survived by : his children, George Benson (Jennifer), Beth Weishaar (Michael) and Sara Streich (Tony); his granddaughters, Katie and Sophie Benson; his children, Spencer, Charlie Weishaar, Jack, Ben and Sam Streich; and his sister Emily Mathias of Wichita.
