She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Thrasher and Mildred Thrasher (DeGraffenreid); her husband Harvey E. LaMar; and her stepfather Lewis Lewallen. She is survived by: her sons, Harry LaMar and Monte LaMar (Leeann); her foster daughter Julie Johnstone; her grandchildren, Lucas Baker, Lanell Benton (Sam), Brady LaMar (Hanna) and Brett LaMar (Kaitlin); her sister Judy Christian; and her stepsiblings, Dennis Lewallen (Sandy) and Sherry Nickel-Crim. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oakley Cemetery.
