He is survived by: his friend Barry Pease; his wife Vicki Halverson of Andover; his children, Cliff Halverson (Heather) of Arkansas City, David Halverson (Toni) of Rose Hill, Jennifer Turpin (Curtis) of Winfield and Yvonne Allen (Gary) of Haven; and his grandchildren, Ashley Halverson, Jami Bartlett, Audrianna Turpin, Chet Turpin, Austen Halverson, Kaitlyn Halverson, Lakin Wilson, Sydney Roeder, Shayla Roeder, Logan Halverson and Cheyenne Strickland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship (3725 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).
A memorial has been established in Leonard's name for Cowley County 4-H Shooting Club. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
