She was predeceased by: her brother Doug Carmichael; her grandparents, Delmar, Virgie "Birdie" Carmichael, Doralynn "Mimi" and Bob Amos; her uncle Don Amos; and her cousin Matthew Amos.
She is survived by: her husband Alan Vonfeldt; her parents, Wayne Carmichael (Amos) and Lynn Carmichael; her sister Jana Nyland (Rick) of Phillipsburg, Kansas; and her nieces, Katie (Cody Rehmer), Jessie Scharping and Leah Nyland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (320 2nd St SW, Plainville, KS 67663). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Plainville United Methodist Church (1002 Madison St S, Plainville, KS 67663). A burial was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Plainville Cemetery (903 S Cemetery Rd, Plainville, KS 67663).
