He was predeceased by : his parents, Hobart Auer, and Marjorie Auer, Jr. (Kandt); and his pets, Luke and Hank. He is survived by : his wife Deborah Beyer; his children, Julie Light (Patrick) of El Dorado and Brian Auer of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Alia and Emjay Light; his siblings, Jim Auer (Jean) of Lumberton, Texas and Laura Swan of Augusta, Kansas; and his nephews, Carter Swan of Augusta, Darin Auer of Silsby and Jerry Auer of Austin, Texas.
