He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur Sr. and Gracie Jean Besore (Sitze); his son Steven Ray; his granddaughter Gracie Burenheide; and his siblings, Shirley Johnson, Mary Trollope and Dorthea Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Charles Arthur III (Anka) of North Carolina; his wife Brenda; his daughter Donna Starks (Ken) of Attica; his stepdaughters, Sherry Horton of California and Melissa Mills (Jason) of Oklahoma; and his siblings, Robert Besore (Rosie) of Texas, Edith Pearcy (Doyle) of Oklahoma, Pat Mortenson (Ellis) of Harper and Terrie Kraft (Richard) of Wyoming. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
