She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton E. Chism and Hattie Chism (Cruz); her husband Clayton A. Porter; her siblings, Clyde Chism, Amos Chism and Pearl Brewer; and her granddaughter Sherri Brittain.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Shelby of St. John, KS, Danny Porter of Anthony, KS, Trudy Ready (Jerry) of Clearwater, KS, Teresa Miller (Rodney) of Belle Plaine, KS and Keith Porter of Anthony; and her sister-in-law Betty Chism Inebnit. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
