She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Maurice "Bill" Dusenbury and Doris Beatrice Gates; and her son Nels Peterson. She is survived by: her son Erik Linn Peterson (Karna Peterson); her sister Susie Brewer (Jim Brewer); and her daughter Joy Peterson-Anckner (Joseph Anckner). She is also survived by seven grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
