It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex A Gates of Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Gates and Irene Gates (Carothers); his children, Charlotte Marie, Jay Austin, Scott and Maria; his sisters, Nancy and Anita; his sister-in-law Sandra; his grandchildren, Castin (Morgan), Elly (Jalen), Faith, Chloe (Bladen), Eli, Karter, Ethan and Luci; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Tyce, Oakley and Daten.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Anthony Christian Church (817 W Wheatridge Dr, Anthony, KS 67003).
