She was predeceased by: her father Herman Averill; her husband Everett Turner; her mother Ruby Lirley Averill (Lirley); and her in-laws, Evan Turner and Melissa Turner (Castor).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Lavon (Rick Dolley) of Argonia, KS and Judy Gertsch (Rory) of Anthony, KS; her granddaughter Crystal Gertsch of Anthony, KS; her great grandchildren, Daniel Broussard (Alejandra) of Medicine Lodge, KS and Nicole Broussard (Colby Miller) of Goodland, KS; and her great great grandchildren, Amelia Broussard and Landon Broussard of Medicine Lodge, KS. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Ruth Turner may be made to Anthony Community Care Center or Country Care Hospice, all in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main Street, Anthony, Kansas 67003.
