He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Witters and Norma Witters (Peitz). He is survived by: his wife Betty Witters; his children, Craig Witters of Wichita, Michelle Barnett of Anthony and Jacob Witters (Jazmin) of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his siblings, Lori Weidner (Jim) of Independence, Kansas and Matt Watkins (Carolyn) of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; his stepsisters, Charissa Gentry and Cynthia Howard (Brad); and his grandsons, Jaxon, Brady, Brody (Barnett) and James Witters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandy's memory to the First Baptist Church of Anthony.
