We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Helen K. Leiker of Antonino, Kansas, born in Victoria, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John A. Dinkel and Mary Dinkel (Rome); her husband Christian J. Leiker; her children, Darrell Leiker and Ivorgene Pelz; her siblings, Andrew, Richard, Albert, Elmer Dinkel, Pauline VonFeldt, Katherine, Magdalen and Albina Dinkel; and her great grandchildren, Trae Wipple and Cody Cawood.
She is survived by : her daughters, Paullette Leiker and Sharon Staab (Jerry); her grandson Lyle Hammerschmidt (Abby); her great grandchildren, Maylee and Bo; her grandson Ross Hammerschmidt (Kendra Barnes); her great grandchild Amy; her grandchild Abby Stapleton; her great grandchild Diana; her grandson Curt Staab (Beth); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Collin and Trevor; her granddaughter Sara Verbeck (Todd); her daughter-in-law Linnea Leiker; her grandchildren-in-law, Chris Leiker (Kielin Green), Antoinette Sandy (Seth) and Alex Leiker (Holly); her son-in-law Greg Pelz; her grandchildren-in-law, James Pelz and Shannon Pelz; and also, Seiran, Oliver, Ripley, Asher, Maggy Correa (Jimmy), Belle, Reyna Correa and Destiny Woodis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (1906 Pine St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A vigil service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (699 210th Ave #691, Hays, KS 67601).
