He was predeceased by: his parents, Errol Jesse Hicks and Francis Marie Hudson (Cris); and his brothers, Clayton Hicks, Frankie Hicks and Elbert Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hicks; his children, Eric Hicks (Nova) of El Dorado Springs, AR, Stephanie Pulliam (Dean) of Grove, OK and Jason Hicks (Diana) of Ponca City, OK; and his siblings, Mike Hicks, Ruby Barrons and Pat Sanders. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City (100 E Kansas Ave, Arkansas City, KS 67005).
