He is survived by: his parents, Darren Oakley and Sheila Oakley (Vessels); his sister Courtney Sobba (Andrew); his siblings' children, Kail, Aria, Aaron and Avery of Eudora, Kansas; his brother Devon Oakley (Taryn); his nephew Nolan of Arkansas City, Kansas; his brother Kaleb Oakley of Arkansas City, Kansas; his aunt Darci Jones; his cousin Will Jones of Niota, Tennessee; his uncle Shawn Vessels of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and his grandfather Jack Vessels of Ponca City.
In Lieu of flowers the family has established the Jared Oakley memorial fund to defray funeral cost.
