He was predeceased by: his daughter Isobel Simone Miers. He is survived by: his parents, Terry Miers and Kitty Jordan Hiatt; his daughter Kaya Blythe Miers-Brown; his son-in-law Charlie Brown; his granddaughter Amara Miers; and his siblings, Dylan Miers, Glen Hankins and Sarah Hankins Brown.

Memorials in Simon's name may be made to the Narcotics Anonymous and left in the care of the Funeral Home.
