He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris C. Bontrager and Rachel C. Bontrager (Yoder). He is survived by: his wife Jody Bontrager; his children, Troy Bontrager and Andrea Fulmer (Kevin); his siblings, ChloAnn Helmuth (Merlyn), Ellie Franz (Dale) and Jay Bontrager (Kim); his brother-in-law Loren Balzer; his mother-in-law Carol Redd; and his grandchildren, Tate Bontrager, Charlotte Fulmer, Francis Fulmer and Jaden Whitaker. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and many special in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 212 Cottonwood Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
