He was predeceased by: his parents, David Foster and Iva Foster (Potter); his daughter Melanie Foster; his wife Carren Kay Foster; and his brothers, Francis Foster and Kenneth Foster.
He is survived by: his son Richard Foster of Ashland, KS; his grandson Jonathan David Foster (Lael Foster) of Woodward, OK; his great grandchild Reid David Foster; and his siblings, Ellen Kraning (Foster) of St. Paul, NE and Wayne Foster of Grand Island, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
