Karen J. Blomquist Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen J. Blomquist (Assaria, Kansas), born in Lincolnville, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 87. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Dale Blomquist; her parents, Joshua Gottfrid and Freda Gottfrid; her brother Joshua "Joe" Gottfrid; her children, Kristin (Raymond Shinn), Ingrid Pohl and Eric (Amber Fouard); her grandsons, Aaron and Andrew Shinn; and her children, Alan, Adrienne (Nathan Flynn), Anya Pohl, Bridgette (Crosson), Zack and Layne Blomquist.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Campus Ministry at Kansas State University or Kansas Public Radio.
