She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Clayton and Leona Clayton; her siblings, Carl Clayton, Thomas Clayton, Harold Clayton, Mary Ellen Perry and Elizabeth Hill; her children, Clarence Jackson, Oliver Vernon Jackson, Bernadette Jackson, Jesse (Wayner) and Linda Sue Downing; and her grandchildren, Mari Taylor, Jessica Poole and Lamar McCants (Simba).
She is survived by: her children, Maurice Jackson, DWayne Jackson Downing, Jerry Jean Finney, Corrine Jackson and Theresa May.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Campbell Chapel A. M. E. Church (715 Atchison St, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (201 N 17th St, Atchison, KS 66002).
